Pyridine is a stronger base than 2 methyl pyridine because:

ence, lone pair of electron are not free so, it is a weak base as no lone pairs are there for donation.
Whereas, in Pyridine the lone pair of electrons are free and can be donated. Hence, it is a stronger base as compared to the latter.
