Explanation:

Good Morning to all my respected teachers and friends. Today I am going to speak about the topic Glossophobia.

Glossophobia is the term used for the phobia of public speaking. The term is derived from the Greek words, glossa which means tongue and Phobos which means fear. So, it is the fear of speaking.

The fear may not necessarily be of speaking in public but also meetings, group discussions, etc. People suffering from glossophobia becomes very anxious when asked to speak publicly. They might tremble with fear or even they may face nervous breakdown.

One famous personality who feared speaking in public was George Bernard Shaw. In his essay "How I became A Public Speaker" is an inspiration for those who have this phobia. Through his essay, we can learn that this phobia can be overcome. And such a person can achieve the art of public speaking.

This fear can be overcome by first starting to speak in smaller groups such as a circle of friends who are supporting, then after overcoming it from the smaller groups the person can move to the larger groups and achieve this art.
