1) Agriculture cannot offer employment to all people in villages. With the arrival of tractors and threshers only less number of physical labours is required. This leads to unemployment which needs to be absorbed by other industries.
2) Thus new machineries and at the same time poor infrastructure (poor roads, hospital facilities, etc.) make the rural people to flow into the cities.
3) Cities provide higher education and better job opportunities.
4) Hence countries like India have massive urbanisation, urban crowding and infrastructure bottlenecks.
