Well, there are quite a few that grow by alternative methods; Bananas, for example, put out “pups”, basically a baby plant identical to the mother, which dies off after fruiting so the babies can become the next generation of Banana producers. Most Berries can be reproduced by allowing the tendrils to droop to the ground and rooting in the soil, creating an offspring that can be separated from the parent plant after maturing. I have successfully rooted cuttings from several trees, such as my Pomegranate, Mulberry, Figs, Grapes, and Dragon Fruit. I know there are probably many others, but that is where my experience ends.
