Metals which are malleable :  Gold and silver

Metals which are ductile :  Gold, platinum, and silver

Iron used in the construction of buildings, bridges, railway lines etc because the tensile strength of Iron is far greater than any other material which can be used as a Building material.  But steel is an exception. Its tensile strength is more than Iron. So it is also used as a building material.
