Hey Friend,
There are basically two coloured gases - chlorine and nitrogen dioxide.
Since this gas is formed two gases one of which being oxygen, the gas is Nirtogen Dioxide.
Reactants - NO and O2 (neutral gases)
Product - NO2
Observation - the gas formed is Reddish brown in colour.
Reaction - 2NO + O2 ---> 2NO2
