Such questions are asked to help in building your writing as well as creative skills, hence an attempt at answering them on your own should be made. However, you can incorporate and elaborate upon the points mentioned below to form your own answer:

A survey was conducted amongst 300 people of various age groups. The purpose of the survey was to see how tastes in music genres, differ amongst each age group.

Out of the 100 in each group, only certain people showed affinity for music and it is on them that the survey was conducted.

In the age group of 15-20, 39 people showed an affinity for music and the most popular genres amongst them was Hip-Hop, followed by Pop and Rock.

In the group which contained people between the ages of 21-30, 28 were interested in music. Amongst them the most popular genres were Rock, followed by Pop, Classical and Jazz.

In the group that contained people from the age group of 31 and above, 51 people showed an inclination for music, wherein Rock, Classical and Jazz were the favourite genres.

These musical preferences, seem to be in concurrence with the intended audience of their associated genres.
