GMRC and values education should be revived because-

1. Values, ethics, norms, the standard of behavior in public, and manners are inculcated in a child in infant age. These moral values are learned and acquired by the child through primary socialization which predominantly takes place in the house followed by the schools and educational institutions like the pre- schools.

2. GMRC also known as good manners and right conduct and values education are important subjects which should be there in the curriculum of the children at that tender age. These subjects will help to induce the ethical and moral values which are essential when a child is growing up.

3. These subjects not only teach the children right and wrong but also initialize and enhance the process of primary socialization.
