2 persons of coresponding masses 50 kg and 40 kg climb 10m above a ground . the first took 5 min to do this and the 2nd took 4 min to do . how much work did each do and what are their powers?(g= 9.8m/s 2 )

⇒W= mgh= 50 x 10 x 9.8= -4900N/m
∴1st person works 4900N/m and power is -4900/ 5x60=-16.33j/sec
similarly for 2nd person
⇒W= mgh=40x9.8x10= -3920j
Power=3920/240=-
16.33j/sec
∴ Both the persons put same power to climb the height
⇒W= mgh= 50 x 10 x 9.8= -4900N/m
