example:

2^5/2^3

we can write the above expression as 2×2×2×2×2×/2×2×2.

if we solve that 2^2 will come.

we know that any non zero number divided by itself is equal to 1. so we can write 2/2=1.

we can write it as 2^1/2^1=1(a power m / a power n that equals to 1.) according to that 2^1-1=1.

of course this equals to zero.

  • hence 2^0= 1..

The given statement 2^0=1 is proved below.

Given :
2^0=1

To find :

To prove the given equation.

Solution:

The definition of exponentiation states that a^0 = 1, where a is any non-zero real number and 0 is the exponent.

So, 2^0 = 1.

In mathematical terms, any number raised to the power of 0 results in 1, because any non-zero number multiplied by 1 is equal to itself.

In this case, 2 multiplied by 1 is equal to 2, and so 2^1 = 2.

But, since 0 is the exponent,

2^0 = 2 * (1/2^1)

2^0 = 2 * (1/2)

2^0=1

Thus, 2^0=1 is proved.
