Given :-

• PQRS is a rectangle

• It's diagonal meet at O

• The value of PO = 5x - 6

• The value of QO = 3x + 4

Solution :-

As , We know that,

[ Diagonals of a rectangle are equal and bisect each other at equal length ]

Therefore,

PO = OR = QO = OS

Now,

PO = QO

5x - 6 = 3x + 4

5x - 3x = 4 + 6

2x = 10

x = 10/2

x = 5

Hence, The value of x = 5.

• The length of PO = 5x - 6

= 5 * 5 - 6 = 25 - 6 = 19

It is given that

PO = OR = QO = OS = 19cm

Therefore,

The length of diagonal

PR = PO + OR = 19 + 19 = 38cm

The length of another diagonal,

QS = QO + OS = 19 + 19 = 38cm
