2. Ramesh buys an old T.V. set for Rs. 5000 and spent Rs. 500 for its repairing and he wants to sell
it at a profit of 12 %. Find the price at which he should sell the set.

Total cost to Ramesh = 5000 +500 = 5500.

Sale price with 12% profit = (100 + 12)/ 100 * total cost = 1.12 * 5500 = 6160.
