Their Present ages :-

\sf{Person~ A = 4x = 40}

\sf{Person ~B = 3x = 30}

\bold\red{Given}

Ratio of Ages = 4 : 3

Will keep their ages as 4x and 3x.

Five years hence

\tt{= 4x + 5 : 3x + 5 = 9 : 7}

\tt{= 4x + \frac{5}{3x} + 5 = \frac{9}{7}}

\tt{= 7 (4x + 5) = 9 (3x + 5)}

\tt{= 28x + 35 = 27x + 45}

\tt{= x = 10}

Their Present ages :-

\sf{Person ~A = 4x = 40}

\sf{Person ~B = 3x = 30}
