b) While Thomas is explaining the process of soil conversation, he will pay most attention to the topsoil. He will do this because the topsoil is the one with the most nutrients, which the plants need, and because it is at the top it is easily eroded away by wind.

c) Sahil can use terrace farming to prevent erosion. it will prevent erosion by creating less of a slope for his crops to be on. In addition, it will draw tourists to his farm.
