Answer:

1/Reffctive=1/R1+1/R2

1/6=1/15+1/R

1/6-1/15=1/R

6-15=R

R=-9

Answer:

In parallel 1/R = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂

Let R₁ = 15 Ω

  ∴ R₂ = x Ω

Now R is given as 6 Ω

BY APPLYING FORMULA  OF PARALLEL CIRCUIT

 1/6 = 1/15 + 1/x

 1/6 - 1/15 = 1/x

 5-2/30 = 1/x ( LCM = 30)

 3/30 = 1/x

 1/10 = 1/x

 x= 10

 The value of R in the Question is 10 Ω
