➤ Answer :-

Role of the people in parliamentary system :-

  • Members regularly speak either in support of, or in opposition to, a piece of legislation.
  • In Parliament, Members may also address constituent concerns during debates, ask questions of Ministers during Question Time and work to create or amend laws.
  • The members of the parliament can ask question, move resolutions, and discuss matters of public importance to pressurize the government. Such provisions are not available in Presidential system.
  • In such a situation, the head of the state invites the leader of the opposition party to form the government.
