  1. let us assume that 2+√3 is a rational number
  2. 2+√3= a/b
  3. √3=a/b-2
  4. √3= a-2b/b
  • here a,b are any Integers a-2b are rational number
  • but√3is an irrational number
  • so our assumption is 2+√3 is rational number is wrong
  • hence 2+√3 is an irrational number
