Find - Cost of 5 ropes

Solution - As per the given information, cost of 2 ropes is Rupees 100. Therefore, calculating cost of 1 rope through division operation.

So, cost of 1 rope will be = 100/2

Cost of 1 rope = Rupees 50

Now, calculating cost of 5 ropes through application of multiplication operation.

As 1 rope costs Rupees 50

5 ropes will cost = 50*5
