Answer:

GIVEN :

                  C.P = 9000

                   S.P = 8100

TO FIND :

                    Loss %

LOSS  =   C.P - S.P

           =    9000 - 8100

            =   900

LOSS % = L/C.P*100

              =900/9000*100

               =10%

The answer is 10%

Explanation:

  • A product's cost price is the cost at which it is purchased.
  • A product's selling price is the cost at which it is purchased.
  • The difference between them is referred to as profit if the selling price is higher than the cost price.
  • Loss is the term used to describe the gap between the selling price and the cost price.

Given: Cost price = Rs.9000 and Selling price = Rs.8100

The formula to calculate the loss is:

Loss = Cost price - Selling price

= 9000 - 8100

= Rs.900

The formula to calculate the loss percentage is:

Loss % = Loss ÷ Cost Price x 100.

= (9000 - 8100) ÷ 9000

= 900 ÷ 9000 x 100

= 10%

Therefore the loss percent of the refrigerator is 10%
