Given :-

2sin²60° • cos²60°

We know that,

sin60° = √3/2 and cos60° = 1/2

Also sin²∅ = (sin∅)² similarly cos²∅ = (cos∅)²

Hence, the value of 2sin²60° • cos²60° :-

= 2 (√3/2)² • (1/2)²

= 2 (3/4) • 1/4

= 6/4 • 1/4

= 6/16

= (2 × 3)/(2 × 2 × 2 × 2)

= 3/8 Final answer!

Extra information about other trigonometric ratios at angles 60° :-

  1. sin60° = √3/2
  2. cos60° = 1/2
  3. tan60° = √3
  4. cosec60° = 2/√3
  5. sec60° = 2
  6. tan60° = 1/√3

Answer:

-1

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know that

(sin^2(60)°+cos^2(60)°)^2 =

sin^2(60)° + cos^2(60)° + 2sin^2(60°)cos^2(60°)

then if we transpose 2 sin^2(60°)cos^2(60°) to the right hand side the equation will become

sin^2(60°) + cos^2(60°)=-2sin^2(60°)cos^2(60°)

then, it will become

1=-2 sin^2(60°) cos^2(60°)

then,

2 sin^2(60°)cos^2(60°)= -1
