Answer:

Given equation is 8x - 3 = 9 - 2x

Transposing – 3 to RHS and it becomes 3 and -2x to LHS it becomes 2x

8x + 2x = 9 + 3

10x = 11

Multiplying both side by \frac{1}{10}

10x * \frac{1}{10} = 12 * \frac{1}{10}

x = \frac{12}{10}

x = \frac{6}{5}

By substituting  \frac{6}{5} in the place of x in given equation, we get

LHS = 8 * \frac{6}{5} - 3

       = \frac{48}{5} - 3

       = \frac{48 - 15}{5}

       = \frac{33}{5}

RHS = 9 -  2 * \frac{6}{5}

         = 9 - \frac{12}{5}

         = \frac{45 - 12}{5}

         = \frac{33}{5}

        ∴  LHS = RHS

                             Hope it helps you^_^
