-b+-√b²-√4ac ÷2a

-2+-√(2)²-√4(8)(1) ÷2×8

-2+-√4-32 ÷16

-2+-√28 ÷16

-2+√28 ÷16 or -2-√28 ÷ 16

or we can write here,

-1+√7 ÷ 8 or -1-√7 ÷ 8
