To Solve:

  • Ali bought 20 dozen oranges 10% of them were rotten. How many oranges were good?

Solⁿ:

  • Total Oranges = 20 dozen (240 oranges)
  • Rotten % oranges = 10%
  • Good Oranges = ?

• Take out the left good oranges by :-

 \frac{10 \times 20}{100} = 2 \: \: dozen \\

So, 2 dozens (24 oranges) of Oranges were Rotten.

Good Oranges = 20 - 2 = 18 dozen

★ 18 Dozen (216 oranges) were Good.
