Challenge and risk:

• Challenge is defined as something that requires great mental or physical exertion in order to be done positively and therefore tests a person's ability e.g. finding a solution to a complicated problems is one of the utmost challenges faced by scientists today.

• Risk is the possibility of something evil happening e.g. the risk of developing cancer from smoking cigarettes
