The generally accepted parts of modern cell theory include: All known living things are made up of one or more cells. All living cells arise from pre-existing cell by division. The cell is the fundamental unit of structure and function in all living organisms

Bonjour!!

✴ CELL THEORY OF AN ORGANISM :

✳ Cell theory states that the new organisms arise from the organisms that existed earlier.
✳ The basis for existence of all the organisms is based on cell, as it is the structural as well as functional unit of all living beings.
✳ All living organisms are made up of cells.

✴ This theory was given by three scientists named :

◻ Theodor Schwann.
◻ Matthias Jacob Schleiden.
◻ Rudolf Virchow.

✴ It was given in year 1838/1839.

✴ The cell theory is not applicable for viruses because they are not made up of cells and are non-living organisms.

Hope \: it \: helps!!
