Hypothalamus secretes gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) which stimulates the anterior lobe of pituitary gland to secrete LH (Luteinising hormone) and FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone). LH stimulates Leydig cells and causes the secretion of testosterone from the testes.
