 \frac{2(t + 3)}{3} = \frac{(3t - 8)}{2}

if the case is like this we have taken out the brackets and cross multiply . if we do that we get...

2(2t + 6) = 3(3t - 8)

that is

4t + 12 = 9t - 24

if we transpose we get

5t = 36

t= 36/5

t= 7.2
