Answer :-

Tanu and Manisha can complete the same work in 13 1/3 days.

Solution :-

Tanu can do a piece of work in 24 days

So Tanu's one day work = 1/24

Manisha can do the same work in 30 days

So Manisha's one day work = 1/30

We know that

Tanu and Manisha's one day work = Tanu's one day work + Manisha's one day work

= 1/24 + 1/30

Taking LCM

= (5 + 4)/120

= 9/120

= 3/40

Tanu and Manisha's one day work = 3/40

So Tanu and Manisha can complete the same work in (40/3) = 13 1/3 days.

Answer:

{\pink{\green{\sf{\therefore Tanu\:and\:Manish\:Work\:together=\frac{40}{3}days}}}}

Explanation:

• In the given question information given about two person and their time to do work.

• We have to find the days taken by both if they work together.

• So, first we find the work done by both in one day.

• Then add both their work's done in one day.

 \underline  \bold{ Given : } \\  \implies Tanu \: can \: do \: a \: work  =  24 \: days \\  \implies Manish \: can \: do \: the \: same \: work  = 30 \: days \\  \\  \underline \bold{To \: Find :} \\  \implies They \: both \: work \: together \: in \: how \: many \: days

• According to given question :

 \implies Tanu \: do \: a \: work \: in \: 24 \: days \\   \bold{\implies In \: one \: day =  \frac{1}{24} work} -  -  -  -  - (1) \\  \\  \implies Manish \: do \:the \: same \:  work \: in \: 30 \: days \\  \bold{ \implies In \: one \: day =  \frac{1}{30} work} -  -  -  -  - (2) \\  \\  \bold{For \: doing \: same \: work\: together \implies} \\ Adding(1)\:and\:(2)\\ \implies  \frac{1}{24}  +  \frac{1}{30}  \\  lcm \: of \: 24 \: and \: 30 = 120\\  \implies  \frac{5 + 4}{120}  \\  \implies  \frac{9}{120}  \\  \implies  \frac{3}{40}  \\  \\  \bold{ \therefore Tanu \: and \: Manish \: can \: do }\\  \bold{ the \: piece \: of \: work \: in \:  \frac{40}{3}  days}
