The adjacent sides of a parallelogram are 15 cm and 8

24 cm.

Height corresponding 15 cm base = 16 cm

Area of parallelogram = Base×height =15 × 16 = 240 cm²

let h be the Height corresponding 8 cm base

Area of parallelogram = 8×h

So,8 × h =240

h = 240

___

8

h = 30 cm

Hence The length of the altitude corresponding to the other side is 30 cm
