1metre=100cm

1/100metres =1cm

Now apply both sides square

(1/100)^2=1^2

1/10000=1cm^2

So,

(I)625 sq.cm

625/10000=0.0625 sq m

(ii) 5817 sq.cm

5817/10000=0.5817 sq m

(iii) 6400sq cm

6400/10000=0.6400

=0.64 sq m

(iv) 5420 sq cm

5420/10000=0.5420

=0.542 sq m
