Answer :-

  • Base of Parallelogram = 48 cm.
  • Altitude of Parallelogram = 24 cm.

Explanation :-

Given :

  • Base of Parallelogram = 8x.
  • Altitude of Parallelogram = 4x.
  • Area of Parallelogram = 1152 sq. cm.

To Find :

  • Base and Altitude of Parallelogram.

Solution :

We know that,

Area of Parallelogram = Base × Altitude.

➨ 8x × 4x = 1152 sq. cm.

➨ 32x² = 1152 sq. cm.

➨ x² = 1152 ÷ 32.

➨ x² = 36.

➨ x = √36.

x = 6 cm.

Therefore,

  • Base of Parallelogram = 48 cm.
  • Height of Parallelogram = 24 cm.
