Monsieur Signy I'Abbaye had been a master atrust of his days and in 1392,was ready to retire when in minth of may a rich italian patron Guiliano Bartoli sent for him.

He was given a work from bartoli to paint his structure on the dining hall's wall which was a 20 ft. wall.

Monsieur was a very good and clean hearted person.

He didnt asked for anything to paint but only a bed and some food.

Afterall Monsieur was not agreeing to paint but by watching the disappointment of bartoli thought for a while and finalky agreed.

He kept a wish to not allow anyone watching the paintjng while it is been drawn not even Bartoli.

He had a sharp memory through which he could remember his face. He didn't even made Bartoli pose for him.

Instead while painting he hanged up a huge peice of cloth so that no one could peer through the painting in construcrion.

Monsieur kept on working days past And Bartoli still was much eager to see how was it painting on. Days , weeks ,months pasted and Bartoli sitting with hus hope of getting a beatiful scene of him.

Bartoli went to Monsieur and asked him weather it was done or not. Monsieur was using his best of colours and tricks to paint he said it is just completed only,wait for a while.

Finally it was the day of revealing the painting. By watching the painting Bartoli was totally disappointed,with anger in eyes he saud that monsieur was a thief,a cheater,he isn't capable of being here.

Still monsieur was glad of what he did , his painting,he was totally satisfied with it.

The painting which was not insulted that time,is respected much today.

Monsieur was a true master Artist.
