Given  :  three concentric circles with four lines passing through their cor

centre.

To Find :  What percentage of the figure is shaded gray

(A) 30%

(B) 35%

(C) 40%

(D) 45%

(E) 50%​

Solution:

Shaded area  in 2nd and  3 rd in an angle can be taken to opposite side

as Vertically opposite angles are equal

Shaded area  in 1st  and  3 rd in an angle can be taken to opposite side

as Vertically opposite angles are equal

Hence we will get Half circle fully shaded

Hence 50 %  of  the figure is shaded gray
