Area of rhombus= (diagonal 1)(diagonal 2) / 2

area =  \frac{0.4 \times 0.2}{2}  \\ area = 0.04 {m}^{2}

Area of 1000 such tiles= 0.04 × 1000

40 {m}^{2}

Cost per square metre= rs. 10

Cost of 40 metre square is

40 \times 10 = rs \:400
