2. The HCF and LCM of two numbers are 135 and 7560 respectively. If
one of the numbers is 280, find the other number.​

HCF of the Numbers = 135

LCM of the Numbers = 7560

One Number = 280

To Find :-

The second Number

Solution :-

Consider the second number as x.

★ HCF × LCM = Product of 2 numbers

⟶ 135 × 7560 = x × 280

⟶ 1020600 = 280x

⟶ x = 1020600/280

⟶ x = 3645

∴ The second Number is 3645.

Verification:−

⟶ 135 × 7560 = 3645 × 280

⟶ 1020600 = 1020600

∴ The second Number is 3645.
