To Find:

  • Find the dimensions

Solution:

Let the assume,

  • Length of cuboid = 5x
  • Breadth of cuboid = 4x
  • Height of cuboid = 2x

★TSA of cuboid = 2 (lb + bh + hl)

➞ 1216 = 2 (20xᒾ + 8xᒾ + 10xᒾ)

➞ 1216 = 2 × 38xᒾ

➞ 1216 = 76xᒾ

➞ xᒾ = 1216/76

➞ xᒾ = 16

➞ x = 4 cm

★Dimensions of cubiod:

Length of cuboid = 5x

  • Length of cuboid = 5 × 4
  • Length of cuboid = 20 cm

Breadth of cuboid = 4x

  • Breadth of cuboid = 4 × 4
  • Breadth of cuboid = 16cm

Height of cuboid = 2x

  • Height of cuboid = 2 × 4
  • Height of cuboid = 8cm
