Answer:

Given: l= 100 m

b=80 m

Perimeter of rectangle=2(100+80)

Given:-

  • length = 100m
  • width = 80m

To Find:-

  • Perimeter of the given rectangular park
  • Area of the given rectangular park
  • Which is greater area or Perimeter

Formula used:-

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 × (l + b)
  • Area of rectangle = l × b

Solution:-

Perimeter of rectangular park = 2 × (l + b)

= 2 × (100 + 80)

= 2 × 180

= 360 m

Area of rectangular park = l × b

= 100 × 80

= 8,000 m²

Hence, Area of rectangular park is greater than the perimeter of rectangular park.
