The correct answer is False.

The lion was in great pain. When Androceles pulled the thorn out from his paw, the lion felt relieved. The lion was more concerned about his own paw, than about attacking Androceles. Also, Androceles had only helped the lion, and had made him feel better. Androceles had not added to his pain in any way. So, there was no reason for the lion to attack someone who had come to his rescue. On the contrary, the lion was able to show his gratitude towards Androceles when he refused to attack him in the arena too. He recognised Androceles as the man who had done him a big favour at a time when the lion was helpless. Therefore, the answer is False.
