The above given image shows the quadratic formula for finding the roots of the quadratic equations.
If you compare both LHS & RHS with the given formula you will clearly see the values of a, b and c which in turn are coefficients of powers of x in a quadratic equation, namely
ax2+bx+c
When you get it on both the sides group the like terms together and make the RHS equal to 0.
Now solve it as a normal quadratic equation.
The terms will be big and might get complex so to reduce complexity call the coefficients a b and c after making the RHS 0, if something gets cut then substitute values. Will make the solving process easy.
