Given :-

  • Quadratic equation : x² - 3 = 0

To Find :-

  • The nature of the roots.

Solution :-

➡ x² - 3 = 0 -----------( Given )

➡ x² + 0x - 3 = 0

On comparing with ax² + bx + c = 0 , We get :

➡ a = 1 , b = 0 , c = -3

As we know that,

 \</u><u>large</u><u> \mathfrak \red{Δ = b² - 4ac }

[ Putting values ]

➡ Δ = 0² - 4 × 1 × -3

➡ Δ = 4 × 3

➡ Δ = 12

 \large{ \mathfrak {\blue{.°.    \:  Δ&gt; 0 }}}

Hence,

  • The roots are real and unequal.
