3)It can be written as ,

log 10 = (1) log 10

log 100 = (2) log 10

and log 10 = 1

So the sequence become 1,2,3.......

Therefore it is Arithmetic series

4)If x = 2 is the solution of 2x+3y = 13

then, 2(2) +3y = 13

= 4+3y = 13

= 3y = 13-4 = 9

= y = 9/3 = 3

hence, y = 3
