Let the width be x

Length = 2x-6

Perimeter = 84 cm

PERIMETER = 2(L+B)

84 = 2(2x-6+x) = 4x-12+2x

84=6x-12

6x = 84+12

6 x = 96

x = 16 cm

WIDTH = X = 16 CM

LENGTH = 2X-6 = 2×16-6 = 32 -6 = 26 CM

THEREFORE OPTION (B) 26 CM, 16 CM IS CORRECT
