Correct Question :-

The perimeter of a rectangle of length 50cm and

breadth 30cm is equal to the perimeter of a square. What is the length of the side of square ?

Required Answer :-

Given,

Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of Square

Length of Rectangle = 50 cm

Width of Rectangle = 30 cm

↪If we know both length and breadth we can find Perimeter

  \purple{\mid{\fbox{\bf{Perimeter  \: of \: rectangle= 2 (l + b)}}\mid}}</p><p>

By Substituting Values

Perimeter = 2 (50 + 30)

↪2 (80)

↪100 cm

Let the Side of Square be x cm

 \red{\mid{\fbox{\bf{Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side}}\mid}}

We know that,

Perimeter of square = Perimeter of Rectangle

4 x = 100

 \large \sf \: x =  \frac{100}{4}

  {\boxed{ \bf{\sf \: x = 25 \: cm}}}

∴ Length of side of Square = 25 cm
