Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2(X+Y)=180. (1)

X.Y=1800. (2)

Therefore

Y= 1800/X from. (2)

Substitute in eqn. (1) we have

X²-90X+1800=0

X²-60X-30X+1800=0

X(X-60)-30(X-60) =0

(X-60) (X-30)=0

Therefore

Length= 60 m

Breadth=30 m

Let AB = CD = x and AC= BD = y

Perimeter of ABCD = 2(x+y) = 180

So x+y = 90  …. (i)

Area ABCD = xy = 1800

(x-y)2 = (x+y)2 – 4xy = 8100 – 7200 = 900 = (30)2

x- y = 30  ….. (ii)

Solving (i) and (ii) we get x = 60 & y = 30
