Answer :-

Let the price before decrease be x

According to the question :-

\sf x - x\times 30\% = 336

\sf x - \dfrac{30x}{100} = 330

\sf 100x - 30x = 336 \times 100

\sf 70x = 33600

\sf x = \dfrac{33600}{70}

\boxed{\sf x = 480}

∴ Price before decrease was £ 336.
