The selling price of Refrigerator = 9,500 Rs

Solution:

Given that the initial price of refrigerator = 10,000 Rs

After 1 month the price decreased to 9500 Rs

The decreased price = 10,000 Rs - 9500 Rs= 500 Rs

form 10,000 Rs of initial price  500 Rs is decreased  

The percentage of decrease = $(\frac{500}{10000} )100$

= $(\frac{500}{100} )$ =  5%

Therefore, the decrease percentage in the price of refrigerator is 5%
