2. The radii of two circles are 8 cm and 6 cm respectively. Find
the radius of the circle having area equal to the sum of the
areas of the two circles.

Answer:

r = 10cm

Area of circle =πr^2

having radius 8cm , = π 64

having radius 6cm , = π36

Sum of the area = π 64 + π36

= 100π

New radius. =πR^2 = 100π

R^2. =. 100

R = 10cm
