= 20+50+20+70+50+50+30

= 280

We know that

Mean = Sum of observations/Number of observations

=> Mean = 280/7

=> Mean = 40

Therefore, Mean of the data = 40

Median :-

Given observations are 20,50,20,70,50, 40,30

On writing them into ascending order then

20,20,30,40,50,50,70

Number of observations = 7

n = 7 is an odd number

We know that

If the number of observations is n , an odd number then the median is (n+1)/2 th observation.

So, Median = (7+1)/2 th observation

=> Median = 8/2 th observation

=> Median = 4th observation

4th observation = 40

Mean :

Mean is calculated by using,

Mean = Sum of all Observations/Total no.of Observations

⇒ Mean = (20 + 50 + 20 + 70 + 50 + 40 + 30)/7

⇒ Mean = 280/7

Mean = 40 .

Median :

Writing the Daily number of rollees in Ascending Order.

Total Number of Observations = 7
