Answer:

area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel sides) perpendicular distance

= 1/2(1.5+2.5)*0.8

=1.6m2

 \sf \red{Given  \: that ;} \\  \sf \pink{Parallel  \: sides \:  are  \: 1.5 m  \: and 2 m.} \\  \sf \pink{Distance  \: between \: them \:  is  \: 1.2 m.}

 \sf{Here,} \\  \sf{⇛a = 1.5 m,} \\  \sf{⇛= 2 m,} \\  \sf{⇛h = 1.2 m.}

 \sf{Area \:  of  \: Trapezium =  \frac{1}{ 2}  \times  ( a + b )  \times  h} \\                                  \sf{=  \sf{ \frac{1}{ 2} \times ( 1.5 + 2 )  \times 1.2}} \\                                 =  \sf{frac{4.2}{2}} \\                                 =  \sf{2.1 m²}

 \sf \red{Hence,  \: the \:  area  \: of  \: trapezium \:  is  \: 2.1 m²}
