area of square= side*side

area of s1=x²sq.cm

area of s2=(x+5)²sq.cm

=x²+10x+25

x²+10x+25-x²=325

0+10x=325-25

10x=300

x=300/10

x=30cm

side of s1=30cm

side of s2=35cm
